Nestled adjacent to the impressive ruins of Barden Tower, this historic restaurant has a fine reputation for excellent cuisine. Now under new ownership, the restaurant has been refurbished with a brighter more modern colour scheme. This 16th Century building is steeped in history and is an ideal venue for a quiet meal, a private function or for a very special wedding day or other important occasion. Its small size, only 25 covers in th main restaurant and a further 14 in the upstairs Stargazers Room, adds to its intimacy.
Opening times now include evenings, normally Thursday, Friday and Saturday, but any other evenings are available by arrangement. The addition of traditional Sunday lunches is proving to be particularly popular.
Booking is strongly recommended to avoid disappointment.
Both the lunch and evening menu is essentially english incorporating a permanent steak menu together with other dishes that are changed monthly to always provide regular customers with something different to try. The current menu is available on the website
