I qualified as a solicitor in 1997 and have specialised exclusively in the field of intellectual property law since that date. I practised in Cambridge for five years during that city’s technology and .com boom. I then worked in the intellectual property team of a large commercial firm in Leeds before setting up my own business in 2004.
I now offer freelance intellectual property advice to businesses and individuals. I remain on the solicitors’ roll, but my charges are several times lower than the normal rate for an intellectual property specialist of my experience because I have elected to work as an independent consultant, rather than to set up a solicitor’s firm.
My client base ranges from a major Cambridge invention house to a successful artist. Full references are available.
